Greendale Business Park is pleased to announce that City West Commercials Ltd (CWC) has become the Park’s newest occupant, moving in to Unit 46. Relocating from premises in nearby Sowton, CWC can now enjoy a new, state-of-the-art servicing and parts distribution facility, along with the many benefits and amenities a site at Greendale Business Park affords. Boasting a new 1,027m2 (11,057ft2) warehouse building on a total site area of 0.7 Ha (1.75 acres), Unit 46 has been carefully tailored to meet CWC’s requirements; for example, the yard area is designed specifically to accommodate articulated HGV vehicles, and ample staff parking (a frustration at CWC’s previous premises) has also been provided.

City West Commercials is fully franchised as the South-West regional truck sales and truck and van aftersales partner for Mercedes-Benz. Operating from four sites located along the M5 and A38 ‘spine’ running through Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, CWC forms a fundamental part of the national Mercedes-Benz network, supporting international, national and local customers. City West Commercials new site at Greendale Business Park is being supported by Mercedes-Benz as a template for facilities in the UK, recognising the changes that are taking place in fleet management and maintenance, due to technology and vehicle connectivity.

Greendale Business Park offers industrial and warehouse units and secure compounds with a full range of on-site services. Existing units at the Business Park range in size from 1,000ft2 (93m2) to 50,000ft2 (4,645m2). Flexible lease terms ensure the continued accommodation of businesses’ requirements as their needs change, building strong relationships over many years. Sites are also available for the development of B1 (light industrial/office), B2 (general industrial), B8 (storage and distribution) and suis generis waste and non-waste related uses (subject to grant of the necessary planning consents). New bespoke units can be built on a ‘turn-key’ design-and-build basis to suit individual occupiers’ requirements, from 10,000ft2(929m2).
