Our sister company, Greendale Farm Shop will be hosting another special food and drink tasting evening on Wednesday 18th July, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
Greendale Business Park is pleased to announce that City West Commercials Ltd (CWC) has become the Park’s newest occupant, moving in to Unit 46. Relocating from premises in nearby Sowton, CWC can now enjoy a new, state-of-the-art servicing and parts distribution facility, along with the many benefits and amenities a site at Greendale Business Park affords. Boasting a new 1,027m2 (11,057ft2) warehouse building on a total site area of 0.7 Ha (1.75 acres), Unit 46 has been carefully tailored to meet CWC’s requirements; for example, the yard area is designed specifically to accommodate articulated HGV vehicles, and ample staff parking (a frustration at CWC’s previous premises) has also been provided.
Greendale Haulage employs around 25 members of staff and operates ten walking floor trailers, two refrigerated articulated lorries, two bulk-tippers, two curtain-siders, one eight-wheel grab lorry, an articulated cattle lorry and two 3.5-ton vans. The haulage business operates across the whole of the UK.
Representatives from Greendale, Devon County Council, East Devon District Council, Woodbury Parish Council & Woodbury Salterton Residents Association held a meeting in January to discuss planning & environmental health matters, business park operations and local residents concerns. Future meetings are to be held quarterly with the next one being due in March.
Its strategic location combines with great connectivity to mean the Park is ideally suited to mail, courier and logistics companies requiring a base from which to carry out their operations in this area of the UK. Royal Mail, Fedex and DHL are all established on site, and UK Mail, elocated its two smaller operations from Plymouth and Exeter to a purpose-built depot (35,000 square feet) at Greendale West in July 2011.
Meet Raceworld. A professional Go Kart track, Raceworld is the longest-established tenant on Greendale Business Park. Raceworld took occupation of Unit 4 at the Park in December 1994; at 32,000 square feet, this warehouse unit in the Greendale South Zone has provided a great base for the business as it continues to grow.
Meet Rocks Organics. Rocks Organics manufactures natural, organic juice drinks, known for their simple, ‘no nasties’ ingredients; fresh fruit, sugar and Devon spring water. The company relocated from Hampshire to Devon in May 2011, moving into Unit 8 at Greendale Business Park, and expanding into Unit 9 in May 2014 (together, these two units in the Greendale South zone comprise 22,000 square feet).
Ainscough Crane Hire moved one of its strategically-located depots from Ivybridge, South Devon, to Greendale Business Park in December 2013. Initially occupying Unit 6 in December 2013, the depot soon expanded into Compound 32b; Unit 6 and Compound 32b comprise 3,600 square feet and 18,000 square feet, respectively.
